What Is Filter Or Separator? Types Of Filters.
There is no place such as in Ammonia Processes, Basic Processes, Chemical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Industries, Lubricant Manufacturing, Manufacturing Industries, Oil and Gas, or Petrochemicals, where no need to process filtration.
The Filter is a mechanical device that separates solids from liquids and gases, this method is called Filtration, and the device by which this method is performed is called a Filter.
The process in which the filter or separator is regenerated is called the Backwash and the backwash is done by high-velocity water or high-velocity air from the reverse to this device.
If you do not have to stop or stop production for a short period of time for the regeneration of this device, then that kind of filter or separator is called a Continuous Filter. Such as Funda-Filter, Candle-Filter, and Drum-Filter.
